Taiwan
Sorry all for the lack of posting recently. I haven't been able to upload any photos, so didn't want to make an entry without pics of my recent trip to Taiwan. Anyways, it was a lot of fun. Went with three other exchange students, David, Judith, and Michelle, all from California. We pretty much just stayed right in Taipei except for one day where we drove up the north coast and stayed at a "Resort Village". It wasn't anything special at all, but oh well. We know next time not to get caught in one of those places. Hopefully I'll be able to post some pictures later showing the trip. There are lots!!
This weekend was pretty fun, even though not much happened at all. The typhoon hit Hong Kong Saturday, and it's been raining off and on since then. That means everyone is inside. Everyone!! The malls were packed, and even on campus, all the dining areas were a mess. On Friday night I went with Judith to see The Myth, the new movie with Jackie Chan. It was great!! Most people i've talked to also said they loved it, although some said it was bad. Anyway, I don't think it will matter, cause I doubt it will be able to be seen in the US, or at least the midwest. This weekend should be fun. There's some sort of big fireworks show on Saturday at Victoria Harbour, so will probably head down there. A friend mentioned something about hiking somewhere saturday to see the fireworks from a remote location. That would be fun too. Not sure, but should be fun no matter what happens. Again, hope to post some pictures soon, otherwise maybe i'll just have to start a different website with pics.
