I'm not sure of an appropriate title????
Sorry for the long time between posts everyone. Have been busy studying for classes and exams. Have had one every week this past week, and did alright on them, but will have to study a lot more and do better on the finals to help the midterm. But, now I know what the professors are looking for, so should be easier.
Anyway, I have been playing a lot of badminton, but had to stop the running for awhile since my knee was acting up a bit. I just think it's cause of my large body that it supports, but figured it could be from the running, thus stopped it to see if it would help. The badminton might not be good for it either, but I like playing too much, and need to improve in order to beat Yana back home, hahahaha. I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before, but I play every Thursday with my roomate and his brother, and just recently another guy from across the hall. So, we've been able to change it up a little bit and play some doubles too. It's quite different than just singles. Not as much of a workout. I don't have much planned this weekend, but should be nice and relaxing. Was gonna go with some friends to a Halloween Bash at Ocean Park, but my one friend has to attend a Friday night class, thus not being able to go. So, instead, maybe will just go cook some of the food that I have left from last weekends BBQ, or go out on the town. Who knows, only the night will tell.
So, has everyone been worrying/hearing about the Bird Flu spreading around the world? I hope you have, cause if you haven't, then you should watch the news. News has been all over here in Hong Kong, since they just had a bad epidemic of this in 1997, some people are very worried. Everyone is buying up the medicine, and the companies are having shortages, or are already out. I'm not actually informed completely on this flu, but know that the only way so far it can be transmitted is by direct contact with a sick bird or by eating some bad poultry. So, just make sure everything is cooked, and don't go petting any birds or holding them, etc. I'm not too worried, but not completely ignoring it, so don't fret all of you back home. Just do everything to try and keep it out of the U.S. We don't need to lose any birds to this nasty, nasty virus.
Okay, and now to the part that caused me to stay up this late and write. I finally was able to get a hold of a copy of Crash, the recent movie with Don Cheadle and Sandra Bullock. Such a brilliantly made movie. I was speechless after the movie, not knowing what to say, or how to react. It just took my breath away, simple to say, just like that. Is life this bad? I know there are bad people out there, but do they eventually realize who they are and how they act just like in this movie? It's amazing how such a small world it is, and how all of these people were all connected in one way or another, especially in a city as large as Los Angeles. How come life is like this? Why do people hate? Like Sandra Bullock's character said, "I've always been mad". Wouldn't it be nice if we all lived in a world without hate and violence. But, we do not, and that's what makes every day of our lives interesting. Every single day is different from the last. So, and psychology majors want to help me out here? If you havne't seen this movie, I completely recommend it. I think it has became a favorite on my very small list of movies that I really love. Anyway, watch this movie. It's good, and worth the money and time that you will spend.
Post comments all, and talk to you later. Take care.

Crash is definitely a movie that needs to be discussed afterwards...so many themes, so much to say. We should watch it together and talk. Glad to have brought up my kids in the Midwest!!
Hey Billy!
Great choice in movies. I too was mesmorized by the movie. I'm gonna rent it to watch with Dave since he didn't see it. Sarah was amazed as well.
Well today the news is that a bird flu was found in some birds in British Columbia...yikes!
Love Aunt Kath
